Colby Hennessy
Colby’s career started in Victoria, helping homeowners, builders and designers source quality stones for their custom countertops and features. Colby moved to Vancouver in 2012 and quickly became the city’s top stone + tile sales professional, supplying many landmark projects that define Vancity. He’s worked with Vancouver’s most prominent developers, architects and interior designers to procure materials for luxury condo developments, hotels, casinos, restaurants, estates and retail. Some notable projects and clients include Grosvenor Ambleside, Shannon Wall Centre, Parq Casino, JW Marriott/ The Douglas Hotels, Cactus Club, Aritzia and Holt Renfrew. After departing the stone and tile world, Colby co-founded Dox Projects, an interior finishing company focused on supply & install of imported Italian cabinets for local multi-family developments.
For the past 4 years, Colby has worked with several award-winning developers to supply their presentation centres and developments with kitchen and bathroom cabinetry and millwork. Colby’s natural interest in architecture, design and construction eventually led him into the world of real estate. His expansive network of development, construction and design professionals combined with a deep knowledge of the local development market make him a great resource for buyers and sellers alike. In his spare time, Colby is an avid golfer, snowboarder, hockey player and gourmet chef. Most weekends you will see him with his wife Jodie, walking their doodle Berkley on the seawall by day and sampling food and wine at their favourite restaurants by night.
